As House Republican lawmakers shuffled out of a closed-door Tuesday morning meeting with Agriculture Committee Chair GT Thompson (R-Pa.), one thing was clear: a plan to roll back hundreds of billions in spending from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program remains very much in flux.
