Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva will soon be able to conduct some business in the Capitol, Speaker Mike Johnson said, even as he refuses to swear her in until the government reopens.
But Grijalva refuted Johnson’s comments that she is ready to serve constituents.
“He’s gaslighting people,” Grijalva said of Johnson’s comments about her office Monday morning. “It’s like someone asking you to make dinner, but you don’t have a stove or any food.”
