Democrats Call for Scrutiny of Ex-Lobbyists in Trump Cabinet

Sen. Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats on Wednesday called on federal agencies to investigate whether ex-lobbyists in the Trump administration, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, used their government jobs to benefit former clients.

Warren (Mass.) and three other lawmakers sent letters to 16 inspectors general asking the officials to scrutinize the former lobbyists’ ties to clients at their old firms.
