House Democrats are targeting five more districts that favored President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, underscoring their confidence they can expand the pool of competitive districts in the November election.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on Tuesday added districts in Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, South Carolina, and Virginia to its “Districts in Play” list, which now includes 44 districts. The newest five favored Trump by between 9 and 13 percentage points in the 2024 election, according to Bloomberg Government data.
