DHS Law Enforcement Unit Challenges Nixing of Union Contract

Department of Homeland Security law enforcement officers are challenging the agency’s termination of a union contract for the unit charged with securing federal facilities.

The union representing Federal Protective Service employees filed a complaint this week after DHS scrapped its collective bargaining agreement as part of a broader effort to sideline organized labor in agencies with national security-related missions.
