A major pharmaceutical industry group shared concerns Friday about US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s decision to pull the Covid-19 vaccine from the CDC’s recommended immunization list for healthy children and pregnant women.

“At PhRMA, we’re concerned about the recent HHS announcement to unilaterally change COVID-19 vaccine recommendations for healthy children and pregnant women without a clear rationale or justification for ignoring extensive scientific evidence and existing guidelines,” Michael Ybarra, chief medical officer for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, said in a Linkedin post.
