Education Department employees have filed a federal workplace safety complaint alleging rodents, leaks and mold at their new Labor Department offices, as the Trump administration moves workers in a bid to dismantle the Education Department.
The union representing some 2,000 current and former workers asserts the agency’s career, technical and adult education and postsecondary education units have dealt with pests, leaky ceilings, and frigid temperatures.
