NYC’s Adams Vows to Stay in Mayor’s Race, Slams Rival Cuomo (2)

New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he will stay in the race for a second term, accusing his opponent Andrew Cuomo of trying to push him out of the contest.

“I am running, and I am going to beat Mamdani,” he told reporters Friday outside Gracie Mansion, referring to Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee who’s favored to win. “I am going to continue the success that the city has witnessed.”
