European Aid to Ukraine Fails to Offset Loss of US, Study Shows

Europe has failed to provide sufficient military support to Ukraine to make up for the loss of US assistance since President Donald Trump returned to power this year, according to the latest data from the Kiel Institute.

Only €32.5 billion ($37.8 billion) in aid has been allocated so far this year, meaning European allies would need to transfer another €9.1 billion to match the annual average since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, according to the Ukraine Support Tracker released on Wednesday.
