Expert Says US Iran Strikes May Last Only Days or Weeks Longer

US supplies of key long-range and defensive munitions were already running low before the latest strikes on Iran, a constraint that may force Washington to scale back its role in the conflict, according to Seth G. Jones of the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Those limits could help shorten the current phase of the war involving direct US military action, Jones said, though he expects Israel to continue periodic strikes against Iran for as long as it deems necessary.
