FBI Raids Office of Virginia Democrat Who Pushed Redistricting

The Federal Bureau of Investigation executed search warrants Wednesday at the Virginia office of L. Louise Lucas, one of the state’s most powerful Democrats, according to a person familiar with the investigation.

The search is tied to a corruption investigation, said the person, who requested anonymity to discuss matters not yet public. Agents are also searching a cannabis dispensary located next door to Lucas’ office in Portsmouth, Virginia, in connection with the same inquiry, the person said.
