The FDA is moving forward with an overhaul of its foods program operations after receiving approval from the Biden administration for its reorganization plans.
The Food and Drug Administration plan, set to be implemented Oct. 1, establishes the Human Foods Program by realigning under one program the functions of the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, the Office of Food Policy and Response, and the Office of Regulatory Affairs.
