The FDA plans to hold a meeting this fall on the agency’s systematic process for post-market assessment of chemicals in food.
The Food and Drug Administration announced Thursday that it will hold a public meeting Sept. 25 to guide its post-market assessment work, which will include a “transparent process for identifying and prioritizing food chemicals currently in the market for safety reviews.”
