Two sophomore lawmakers are among the four new Republicans joining the House’s China panel, which will be closely-watched this year as uncertainty looms around the future of TikTok and trade between the two nations.
Reps. Gus Bilirakis (R-Fla.), Young Kim (R-Calif.), Nathaniel Moran (Texas), and Zach Nunn (R-Iowa) will join the House Select Committee of Strategic Competition Between the United States and Chinese Communist Party, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) announced Tuesday. The panel will once again be led by Chairman John Moolenaar (R-Mich.) and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.).
