Senate Democrats failed to gain enough support to allow them to consider a resolution aimed at preventing President Donald Trump from launching an attack on Cuba, the latest in a string of unsuccessful attempts to rebuke the president.
The Senate voted 51-47 Tuesday in favor of a point of order blocking consideration of a war powers resolution (S.J.
