Rep. Julia Letlow (R-La.) introduced a new bill Thursday that would codify dietary guidelines updated by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Letlow is running for Senate against Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) in a May 16 primary. The legislation, obtained by Bloomberg Government, is part of an effort by Letlow to court Kennedy-aligned voters and Make America Healthy Again groups in the race.
