GOP-Led House Ties on Halting Iran War as Opposition Mounts (1)

The Republican-controlled House tied on a vote to stop the US war against Iran in a sign of deepening political opposition to the conflict.

The 212-212 vote Thursday meant the resolution calling for an end to US involvement in the conflict failed under House rules but it is the closest congressional vote so far on the war. Three Republicans voted for the resolution.
