Heritage Action’s Lobbying Spending Plummets Year Over Year

Heritage Action for America spent 65% less on federal lobbying last year, amid staffing turnover and as controversy swirled at its larger affiliate.

The lobbying arm of the Heritage Foundation disclosed spending $270,000 on federal advocacy in 2025 with $40,000 total in the second half of the year, lobbying disclosures show. It made for one of its smallest federal lobbying years since Heritage Action started in 2010.

By contrast, Heritage Action spent $780,000 on federal lobbying in 2024.
