A tax credit providing incentives for more energy-efficient homes can free up the crowded electricity grid, as energy-hungry data centers proliferate across the US, a nonprofit group says.
States like Arizona and Texas, among the most popular hubs for artificial intelligence data centers, would experience a yearly reduction in peak energy demand from more use of the 25C Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit, Rewiring America found in research released Thursday and obtained exclusively by Bloomberg Government.
