Homeland Intelligence Chief Confirmed as Office Eyed for Cuts

The Department of Homeland Security will get a new intelligence chief with the Senate’s confirmation of Matthew Kozma to lead the Office of Intelligence and Analysis.

The Senate voted 53-44 Thursday to confirm Kozma to the role, placing him atop a troubled office that’s undergone years of transformation during the previous administration and has been targeted for reductions this year.
