House Agenda for the Week of Jan. 19

The House is eyeing votes this week on a final appropriations package to fund the government for the rest of fiscal 2026, as well as two bills to support organizations that promote alternatives to abortion.

The Rules Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday to set the terms of debate on the two pregnancy-related measures, as well as a resolution under the Congressional Review Act to roll back a Biden-era Interior Department order banning mining on certain federal forest lands in Minnesota.

Lawmakers also are planning to consider eight measures under suspension of the rules, which require a two-thirds majority vote ...
