The House is set to vote this week on two fiscal 2027 appropriations bills, a veterans affairs package, and several measures affecting small businesses.
The House Rules Committee plans to meet Tuesday to set debate terms on the spending measures, including the Energy and Water Development bill and the National Security and State Department bill.
The meeting will also cover a 500-page overhaul to benefits and administration at the Veterans Affairs Department, plus a measure prohibiting credit card processors from distinguishing between firearms dealers and other types of retailers.
