The House is set to vote this week on Republicans’ immigration reconciliation bill along with several measures aimed at preventing fraud in government payments.
The House Rules Committee is scheduled to meet today to set the rules of debate on the reconciliation measure, two bills that would require federal agencies to take more steps to curb improper government payments, and a resolution expressing support for anti-fraud policymaking. Simple majorities would be required to pass or adopt those measures.
