House Agriculture Democrats Announce Subcommittee Leadership

House Agriculture Committee Democrats have named a roster of new and returning leaders for key subcommittees handling policy issues from conservation to nutrition.

“I know the subcommittee ranking members are committed to working across the aisle to get” a bipartisan farm bill, panel ranking member Angie Craig (D-Minn.) said in a Wednesday statement.

Craig named Shontel Brown (D-Ohio) as vice ranking member of the House Agriculture Committee. During the 118th Congress, Brown led Democrats on the commodity and risk management subcommittee, which Sharice Davids (D-Kan.) now take over.
