House Republicans advanced a $7.3 billion bill funding Congress’ day-to-day operations that includes cuts to the legislative branch’s nonpartisan watchdog as appropriators race to mark up all their bills by the end of July.
The House Appropriations Committee voted 34-28 Wednesday to send their Legislative Branch appropriations bill to the House floor.
