House Delays DCA Crash Response Until Final Report Next Year

The House Transportation Committee is unlikely to move legislation in response to a January mid-air collision near Washington until after the National Transportation Safety Board issues a final report next year, a key lawmaker said Tuesday.

“We got to make sure that we’re doing this right and not going back to the way we used to do business,” Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas), who chairs a subcommittee on aviation, said in an interview.
