House Democrats will seek to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem unless President Donald Trump fires her “immediately,” party leaders said in a statement Tuesday.
“We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and his House leadership team wrote. The impeachment threat comes as pressure grows on the Trump administration to get rid of Noem after a Border Patrol agent killed a man in Minneapolis last weekend.
