House GOP Releases Funding Levels for First Six Spending Bills

House lawmakers are expected to vote on allocations for six annual spending bills Tuesday, setting an early starting point for high-level negotiations on government funding.

House lawmakers released six of the 12 interim subcommittee allocations, known as 302(b) figures, on Monday. The figures serve as an outline for lawmakers to write their funding bills. The House Appropriations Committee is expected to consider the allocations when they mark up two of their funding bills on Tuesday.
