House Leaders Again Pull College Athletics Bill From Agenda (1)

A college sports bill was pulled from the House floor again this week, according to a person familiar with the schedule, after GOP leaders had telegraphed optimism about reaching a deal.

The SCORE Act (H.R. 4312), which would govern how student athletes can be compensated for use of their name, image, and likeness, previously stalled on opposition from hard-right Republicans. GOP leaders had hoped to finally advance the effort this week.
