Rep. Chip Roy, a leader of far-right Republicans who has criticized Speaker Mike Johnson, will now lead a Judiciary subcommittee.
Roy will lead the Constitution and Limited Government Subcommittee, according to two sources familiar with the committee’s operations. The spot opened when Johnson (R-La.) ascended to the No. 1 spot in the House.
