House Panel to Haul in Minnesota Medicaid to Answer for Fraud

A House panel is planning to hold a hearing next week focused on fraud in state Medicaid programs that include Minnesota, according to two people familiar with the committee’s plans.

Thursday’s hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will be the latest in a slew of proceedings Republican lawmakers have held to highlight what they call rampant fraud in the federal health program for low-income and disabled Americans.
