House Rules Panel Punts Decision on FISA, Farm Bill, Budget Plan

The House Rules Committee ended Monday without a rule that would set up debate and simple-majority votes governing consideration of three major priorities for the House leadership.

The Republicans informed the Democrats on the Rules panel late Monday evening that they wouldn’t reconvene until 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the earliest, according to Matthew Bonaccorsi, spokesman for the panel’s Democrats.
