The dust has barely settled from the fall elections. But already a number of House districts are gearing up for spring special elections for openings congressional Republicans badly need filled to carry out President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda.

House Republicans won 220 of 435 seats in November but began the current 119th Congress without Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), who resigned a week after the election. Gaetz was initially named by Trump to be his attorney general pick but dropped out after reports of alleged misconduct regarding his personal life. Rep.
