House to Vote on Divisive Ethanol Bill in May, Lawmaker Says

The House will vote on a bill allowing year-round sales of gas that contains 15% ethanol on May 13, Rep. Zach Nunn (R-Iowa) told reporters Thursday.

The bill was originally scheduled for a vote this week as part of a party-line procedural “rule” vote, but pushback from House Republicans on an E-15 bill forced GOP leadership to postpone the vote until after the recess, which begins tomorrow. House members will return on May 12.
