House to Vote on Rejecting Trump Union Order Within Two Days

Democratic Rep. Jared Golden’s bill on reinstating union rights for federal workers will get a House vote this week after the Maine lawmaker moved to force it on the floor Tuesday.

Golden previously got the required 218 signatures on his discharge petition, allowing him to trigger a vote on the legislation, despite opposition from Democratic leaders. Five centrist Republicans joined Democrats to sign onto the petition.
