Iran Tensions Rise as US Redeploys Its Military Staff in Qatar

Iran tensions rose after President Donald Trump threatened to take action over a violent crackdown against protesters, with the US moving military staff and Tehran warning neighboring countries against assisting an attack.

Officials told Bloomberg on Wednesday there had been some redeployment of US personnel in Qatar, and around other American bases in the region, due to ongoing apprehension and Iranian threats to target those locations. They asked not to be named discussing private information.
