Kennedy Center Chief Replaced After Wave of Artist Cancellations

Richard Grenell was replaced as head of the John F. Kennedy Center after a tumultuous year that saw many artists and groups cancel shows at one of the nation’s most prestigious performing arts institutions.

President Donald Trump appointed Matt Floca, currently the vice president of facilities operations at the center, to succeed Grenell, subject to approval by the board.
