A key member of the Senate Finance Committee is openly conflicted about voting to advance Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Health and Human Services Department.

After weeks of remaining mum on where he stands, Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), who is also the chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, aggressively zeroed in on the HHS pick’s views on vaccines during a Thursday hearing, pleading with Kennedy to rescind his past comments tying vaccines to autism.
