Klobuchar Files Campaign Committee for Minnesota Governor (1)

Sen. Amy Klobuchar formed a campaign committee to run for Minnesota governor in the 2026 election, a sign the veteran Democratic lawmaker is likely to announce her candidacy soon for the state’s top executive position.

Minnesotans for Klobuchar formally organized Thursday in a filing to the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board, identifying the senator as a candidate for governor in the 2026 election.

Kloubchar’s Senate campaign committee didn’t immediately return a request seeking comment. KSTP-TV reported earlier on her campaign filing.
