Trump tariffs riled the nation’s business sector, driving money to K Street and hurting consumers, even as courts dealt setbacks to the administration’s signature trade policy, Mike Pence’s policy group says.
Lobbying spending tied to tariffs spiked in the first quarter when compared with the same period last year, Advancing American Freedom said in a new analysis shared first with Bloomberg Government.
