More Federal Electric Vehicle Money Flows to Battleground States

Election swing states and rural tribal communities are among dozens of recipients of federal money to build more charging stations for electric vehicles, the Biden administration announced Tuesday.

The $521 million in grants to places including Milwaukee, Pittsburgh and the power authority that supports the Sioux Reservation in North Dakota, mark the latest White House effort to deploy federal funds from the 2021 bipartisan infrastructure law (Public Law 117-58) as the November elections approach.
