Murkowski, Key Swing Vote, Is Shopping Authorization on Iran War

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said Thursday she’s working on a possible authorization for the use of military force in Iran as frustration rises in the president’s party with lack of detail over operations in the Middle East.

Murkowski, a key swing vote, said the Trump administration in closed-door briefings won’t give answers on the scope and purpose of operations in Iran. She said she’s working on a possible bill to authorize operations in Iran in order to set an end goal for war.
