An Amazon warehouse project in New York was denied $80 million in property tax breaks by a New York monitor Tuesday, prompting a possible court fight between the shipping behemoth and the state over the incentives.
Amazon had promised 750 warehouse jobs for the project in Orange County within three years of completion in exchange for over $80 million in property tax breaks over 15 years and another separate $30 million in sales tax breaks.
