Palantir Technologies Inc. and Shield AI Inc. are among a group of leading Silicon Valley technology companies set to meet with US House Armed Services Committee lawmakers next week to discuss the Pentagon’s approach to innovation and acquisition.
The high-profile committee, led by Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), will hold a field hearing at the UC Santa Cruz Silicon Valley Campus in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sept 16, according to information obtained by Bloomberg Government. Companies talking to the committee members that day include Palantir, Skydio Inc., Shield AI, Applied Intuition Inc., and Saildrone Inc.
