Paul Says Surgeon General Nomination ‘Held Up’ by HELP Committee

Casey Means’ surgeon general nomination is “being held up” by the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Wednesday.

“As most of you know I’m on the HELP Committee. We have before us MAHA advocate Casey Means’ nomination to be surgeon general. It’s being held up though at the committee. It should’ve been out, we should’ve voted long ago,” Paul said during a streaming video call held by the MAHA Action group.
