Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to hang up her hat after 20 terms in Congress raises the question of whether multiple older — and longer-serving — Democrats will follow the 85-year-old’s lead.

Democratic octogenarians still hold immense sway in the House, but younger members’ pleas for generational change have yielded some results in recent months.
