Pentagon’s Anthropic Risk Decision Spurs Lawmaker Confusion (1)

The Pentagon’s decision to label Anthropic PBC a supply chain risk has spread confusion on Capitol Hill and prompted lawmakers from President Donald Trump’s own party to seek answers.

“Nobody has talked to me yet about why they made that designation,” Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), chairman of the House Armed Services Committee said of the Pentagon’s actions. “I do not know what their thinking is.”
