US Defense chief Pete Hegseth ordered an overhaul of the Army, the country’s largest military service, to boost long-range missile defense, electromagnetic warfare and artificial intelligence.
The top Pentagon official, who has pledged to incorporate technology at the department more quickly, announced the changes in a memo released Thursday.
