Redistricting War Makes GOP Vulnerable in 2028, Republican Says

A mid-decade redistricting war has degenerated into “a race to the bottom” that will overpower Republicans in 2028, according to a House GOP leader.

“I don’t think this is good for Republicans in 2028 and beyond,” Rep. Blake Moore (R-Utah), the vice chair of the House Republican Conference, said Friday at a Bloomberg Government roundtable event. “Because once New York and Illinois and Virginia get their ducks in a row, legally, they’ll obliterate our ability to have a majority.”
