RFK Jr. Hearing Unlikely Before Month-End, Says Key Lawmaker (1)

The Senate Finance Committee is unlikely to consider President Donald Trump’s pick of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Department of Health and Human Services chief during the last week of January, according to a key lawmaker.

Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), chair of the Finance Committee, told Bloomberg Government that an original goal of scheduling a confirmation hearing for the week of Jan. 27 “wasn’t likely,” considering the panel hasn’t received a report from the Office of Government Ethics and other paperwork.
